ESCRIPTION
This command is used in the Router Configuration mode. Enables routing on an
IP network and the area ID for that interface.
Note:
Area '0' is called the backbone area.

The "no" command enables sending of hello packets and routing updates on a
specified interface.

Area ID that is to be associated with the OSPF address
range. It can be specified as either a decimal value or as an
IP address. If you intend to associate areas with IP subnets,
you can specify a subnet address as the value of the area-id
argument.
