This section deals with the commands relevant to only the E1 controller.

CARD TYPE

card type {E1|T1} <slot>

ESCRIPTION
This command is entered in the Configuration mode to set the card type of E1
controller in a specific slot.

By default, no card type is installed.

XAMPLE
The following example sets the card type of E1 controller:
OA(config)# card type E1 0
Note: The line card is not functional until card type is set. Reboot/Reload the chassis to
change the card type, which will remove the previous configuration. Use controller
and channel-group commands to relaod the card type.
