ESCRIPTION
Enter this command in the Router Configuration mode. This command is used to
configure RIP version - v1/v2 on the OA-700.
Note: RIPv2 is an enhancement of RIPv1 and not a separate protocol.
By default, the RIP process configured on the OA-700 sends only RIPv1 messages
but receives both RIPv1 and RIPv2 messages.

EFAULT ALUE
By default, the software receives both RIP Version 1 and Version 2 packets, but
sends only Version 1 packets. You can configure the software to do the following:
•
Receive and send only Version 1 packets.
•
Receive and send only Version 2 packets.
•
Receive and send Version 1 and 2 packets.
