The following Specific Tasks for this protocol processor are discussed:

Configuring Packet Streams

If an all zeros pattern exists for 100 milliseconds or longer
on the incoming signal, then an LOS is reported.
Indicates the port's connection status. If green, the port is
receiving a valid signal.
Indicates a Code error or Symbol error is detected in the line
encoding.
Frame Check Sequence error status LED
Remote Fault status LED
Local Fault status LED
Pattern Synchronization alarm status LED
Indicates a loss of pattern synchronization in at least one
of the 32 Streams.
Bit error status LED
Indicates a detected BIT error in at least one of the 32
Streams.
Sequence error status LED
Indicates a sequence error detected in at least one of the
32 Streams.
