SDH Synchronous: The Optical Channel Payload
Unit (OPU) of the OTN frame is synchronized with the
rest of the OTN frame, and the payload data is defined
by the configuration settings on the SDH tab.
SDH Asynchronous: The Optical Channel Payload
Unit (OPU) of the OTN frame is asynchronous with the
rest of the OTN frame, and the payload data is defined
by the configuration settings on the SDH tab.
SONET Synchronous: The Optical Channel Payload
Unit (OPU) of the OTN frame is synchronized with the
rest of the OTN frame, and the payload data is defined
by the configuration settings on the SONET tab.
SONET Asynchronous: The Optical Channel
Payload Unit (OPU) of the OTN frame is
asynchronous with the rest of the OTN frame, and the
payload data is defined by the configuration settings
on the SONET tab.
PRBS: Inserts a PRBS payload pattern into the OTN
frame.
Null Client: Inserts an All Zeros payload pattern into
the OTN frame.
GFP: The OTN frame is configured with a GFP
Payload.
ITU-T G.709 Sup43 7.3: The OTN processor is
configured for a 10Gbps LAN mapping over OTU-2,
with a GFP-F structure, per ITU-T G.709 Supplement
43 Section 7.3.
ODU-Flex: OTU-2 can be mapped for ODU-Flex,
which supports 8G Fibre Channel (7 ODU-0
containers) and 4G Fibre Channel (4 ODU-0
containers), as well as PRBS, Null Client and GFP
over 1 to 8 ODU-0 containers.
ODTU Multi-Chan: ODTU Multi-Channel mappings
support simultaneously and independent testing of all
ODU-j containers, for the selected ODTU level.
ODTU Multi-Channel ODU-j containers only support
PRBS or Null Client (All Zeros) payload patterns.
ODTU Add/Drop: ODTU Add/Drop mappings support
