MPA Chassis
IMPORTANT: The MPA chassis must be configured at the factory in order to
accommodate a dual-slot MPM-400G card.
The MPA can support up to two MPM-400G cards per chassis.
The MPM-400G card supports a CFP8 pluggable laser module for testing 400G
interface rates.
The look and feel of the MPM-400G's GUI and SCPI interface scripting is very similar to
the MPM-100G card, but only includes MLD and a PACKET protocol processor tabs.
Pluggable CFP8 laser modules are hot-swappable, which allows for testing different
wavelengths as needed.
Always verify that the laser module being inserted supports the Interface rate being
selected for test.
When inserting a CFP8 laser module, the laser module is inserted upside down
where the handle for the release mechanism is oriented underneath the laser.
