Results Screens and Functions
(Specifically for LAN/WAN Ethernet testing on the Packet tab)
Test activity and event history can be viewed using the various functions of the Results
screen.
The Results screen contains the following functions:
•
Scan - Displays a list of errors and alarms along with their count and duration.
•
ERR - Displays a list of errors along with their count, errored seconds, average
and current rates.
•
ALARM - Displays a list of alarms along with the number of seconds spent in the
alarm condition.
•
Count - Displays Utilization, Packet, VLAN, MPLS and Packet Size count
statistics.
•
Strm Rslt - Displays Stream ID specific statistics.
•
Event - Displays a summary of error alarm activity.
•
Large LEDs
•
Graph - Displays a graphical representation of the error and alarm history.
Results - Scan Screen
(Specifically for LAN/WAN Ethernet testing on the Packet tab)
This function displays a list of received errors and alarms.
For Alarms, the duration is reported as a count in seconds.
For Errors, an error count is reported.
The message No Errors or Alarms appears if no events are received by the system.
This function provides a quick summary of incoming errors and alarms. It is effective in
identifying a general area to investigate when error or alarm activity is detected.

The Error screen reports error statistics on the incoming signal.
