Background AU-
<#> Pattern
Selects foreground AU# of the mapped signal.
When available, select the AU-<#> Added button to enter
the number of the specific AU channel to set as the
foreground (source) channel. The default setting is 1. The
source channel can be used to transmit alarms, errors, or
patterns.
For example, this setting selects which of the four AU-4-
16c channels in an STM-64 signal is the foreground channel,
the channel not selected are considered background
channels.
Select ALL to replicate the transmitted foreground test
channel over all background channels.
When All Path mapping is selected, this setting is
renamed to Container Added.
Selects the foreground TUG-3 # of the mapped signal.
TUG-3 will only display for LP mappings, if the AU type is
set as AU-4.
Selects the foreground TUG-2 # of the mapped signal.
TUG-2 is only available for LP mappings C-12 and C-11.
Selects the foreground Tributary Unit # of the mapped signal.
When available, select the AU, TUG-n and TU Added
buttons to enter the number of the specific TU channel to set
as the foreground (source) channel. The default setting is 1.
The source channel can be used to transmit alarms, errors,
or patterns.
This setting is only available for LP mappings.
Allows the user to select the type of pattern to be inserted
into the remaining background channels for the SDH signal.
