The MPM-100G card can be controlled by the GUI or SCPI, and supports protocol
processor tabs for MLD, OTN, SONET/SDH, and a PACKET tab (for Ethernet testing).
Pluggable laser modules are hot-swappable, which allows for testing different
Interfaces and wavelengths as needed.
Always verify that the laser module being inserted supports the Interface rate being
selected for test.
When inserting a CFP-4 or a QSFP28 laser module, the laser modules are inserted
upside down where the handles for the release mechanism is oriented underneath the
laser.
QSFP28's Port Activity Indicator LED (#2), above and to the left of the QSFP28
module, glows green when the QSFP 28's TX Laser is turned on
CFP4's Port Activity Indicator LED (#5), above and to the right of the CFP4
module, glows green when the CFP4's TX Laser is turned on
Only one Laser type can be enabled at a time, and the Laser type enabled is
determined by the Interface selected in the GUI.
Each MPM-100G port (Test Unit) provides testing capabilities for the following SONET,
SDH, OTN, and Ethernet Interface rates:

•
OTN: OTU-4 (111.809G) OTL-4.10, OTU-3 (43.018G) OTL-3.4, OTU3e1/e2
