MAC Dest address
IP Src address
Sets a Destination MAC address for generated traffic. The
address is a 12-digit (6-octets) HEX value that is entered using a
keypad. The address is entered into 6 separate fields, 2
characters each. There are no restrictions on values entered,
except that all a value must be entered into all fields.
For "Unicast Packets" the 1st octet for the Destination MAC
addresses should be set to an even number such as "00".
For "Multicast Packets" the 1st octet for the Destination MAC
addresses should be set to an odd number such as "01".
For "Broadcast Packets" all 6 octets of the Destination MAC
addresses should be set to "FF".
Sets the IP address of the source (origination).
For IPv4, the address is entered in decimal notation using a
keypad. There are no restrictions on values entered but the
format must be correct, i.e: (
If three digits are entered in a field, a period will be
automatically added.
If only one or two digits are entered, you must enter a period
manually.
For IPv6, the address is entered in hexadecimal notation using a
keypad. There are no restrictions on value entered but the format
must be correct, i.e: (
