SDH TCM Summary LED
The TCM LED indicates if a TCM error or alarm has been detected.
TCM (Tandem Connection Monitoring) is disabled by default, and must be enabled in
order to test for TCM errors and alarms. For SDH processors, the TC Overhead
Processing setting can be Enabled from the Transmit > SET > SET 2 screen. If the
SDH processor is configured for a LP Mapping, then the TC Overhead Processing
menu will allow you to choose between HP Enable or LP Enable.

LPOH BIP-2 Code Violations. Indicates an error occurred
during a parity check, which involves grouping all the bits in a
block into units and then performing a parity check of each bit
position in the group. This is calculated over the LPOH and
payload of each VC. This is an error LED.
Pattern Sync Mismatch. Indicates a loss of pattern
synchronization. This is an alarm LED.
BIT Error. Indicates a Bit error was detected in the payload.
This is an error LED.
Tandem Connection Status LED. Indicates if a TCM error
or alarm has been detected.
If the TCM Summary LED is red, select the "TCM" text to
display the
TCM Summary
The TCM Summary LED only appears when

Signal Status Mismatch - Displays when the expected SS
bits setting in the H1 byte do not match what is received. This
is an alarm LED.
