This section of the help file will list all Interface rates and test options currently available
for each card type.
The OTN tabs on the MPM-10G card provides Forward Error Correction (FEC)
testing functionality for G.709 networks, including OTU-1 (2.666 GHz), OTU-2
(10.709 GHz), OTU-1e (11.049 GHz), OTU-2e (11.095 GHz), OTU-1f (11.270
GHz) and OTU-2f (11.270 GHz); including support for the following Mappings:
GFP, ODU-Flex mapping (supports 8G Fibre Channel, 4G Fibre Channel, GFP,
PRBS and Null Client), ITU-T G.Sup 43 7.3, PRBS, Null client, Unframed BERT,
SONET/SDH Synchronous and Asynchronous add/drop, and ODTU Multi-
Channel and ODTU Multi-Level Add/Drop mappings which can be mapped down
to ODU-0.
Additional MPM-10G Interfaces include Unframed CPRI BER testing at
614.4M, 1.2288G, 2.4576G, 3.072G, 4.9152G, 6.144G, 9.8304G,
10.1376G, 12.16512G rates.
The OTN tab on the MPM-100G and MPM-100AR cards provide Forward Error
Correction (FEC) testing functionality for G.709 networks, including OTU-3
(43.018G), OTU-3e1 (44.571G), OTU-3e2 (44.583G), OTU-4 (111.809G) and
OTUCn (112.304 GHz); including support for the following Mappings: ODU-
Flex mapping (supports 8G Fibre Channel, 4G Fibre Channel, GFP, PRBS and
Null Client), PRBS, Null client, SONET/SDH Synchronous and Asynchronous
add/drop, 40G/100G Ethernet protocol mappings, and ODTU Multi-Channel and
ODTU Multi-Level Add/Drop mappings which can be mapped down to ODU-0.
Additional MPM-100AR Interface rates supported include OTU-2 (10.709
GHz), OTU-1e (11.049 GHz) and OTU-2e (11.095 GHz).
All Interface rates supported by the card type that are actively licensed can be
selected from the Interface menu, regardless if the inserted laser module supports the
selected rate or not. The user should verify that the inserted laser module supports the
desired Interface rate prior to selecting it.
