Record Statistics/Events and
Repeat Test
This option appears when
Repeat Actions is selected.
Print Options
When a print option is chosen from the Remote Client, the
report is sent to the Current Printer
System tab's User Preference screen. If the Current Printer
is configured for Prompt Each Time, then a Windows Print
dialog box appears for you to choose between your PC's
default printer or another printer listed in the drop-down
menu.
Record Options
When a Record option is chosen, the results are saved to a
file with one of the following extensions:
•
.stat - Results Report. A statistics report of the
received Errors, Alarms, Pointer Analysis, and Signal
Status functions.
•
.evt - Event Report. A detailed summary of received
Errors, Alarms and Pointer event activities.
The file naming convention is: XX S#-P#-hhmmss.<file
extension> (where XX is the Protocol Processor
name, S# is the Slot#, P# is the Port#, hh is Hours, mm
is Minutes, ss is Seconds).
For example, a file named "SDH S2-P1-155815."
represents a SDH statistics report from Port 1 on Slot
2 and was recorded at 15:58:15.
At the end of a timed test
both test Statistics and
Events are saved to
individual text files with the
.stat and .evt file extensions,
and the timed test restarts.
This test cycle continues until
the test is stopped by
selecting Stop from the
Common Function Buttons,
or by changing the Action
