3.4 Battery The CX10/CX10+ operates from 6 Volts provided by 4x1.5 Volt Alkaline batteries (AA) located in the rear of the unit. The battery life is 100 hours of continuous scanning. To preserve battery life, the units are fitted with an auto shutdown feature. -

4.4 Tone Generator The CX10/CX10+ can be used as a tone generator to trace and identify cables and wires. The user will need a conventional inductive tone probe within a range of 810Hz to 1110Hz. Press the TDR key to inject a warbling tone into the cable or link under test. -
