Pause
Test/Resume Test
When a Record option is chosen, the results are saved to a
file with one of the following extensions:
.stat - Results Report. A statistics report of the
received Errors, Alarms, Pointer Analysis, and Signal
Status functions.
.evt - Event Report. A detailed summary of received
Errors, Alarms and Pointer event activities.
The file naming convention is: XX S#-P#-hhmmss.<file
extension> (where XX is the Protocol Processor
name, S# is the Slot#, P# is the Port#, hh is Hours, mm
is Minutes, ss is Seconds).
For example, a file named "SONET S2-P1-155815."
represents a SONET statistics report from Port 1 on
Slot 2 and was recorded at 15:58:15.
To determine how long a test will run, refer to Duration.
After configuring the Duration, you must select
order for the Timed Test to begin.

To pause a test:
Select Pause Test.
When Pause is selected, the system stops collecting
data, but the Elapsed Time counter continues.
Additionally, when Pause is selected, a red Test
Paused LED appears in the LEDs Quick Status area.
To resume a test:
Select Resume Test.
The Test Paused LED turns white with red text,
indicating that the test was paused earlier.
Events occurring while in Pause mode will not be
