4. Choose a Strms Pg # side tab. (Where # is either 1 or 2 depending on which
stream(s) you want to set.
5. Enable the desired stream(s) to begin generating traffic on the configured test
stream(s).
Important: Streams cannot be enabled when IP Reflection is enabled.
6. Packets begin transmitting as soon as the On/Off checkbox is enabled.
To begin transmitting packets on multiple streams starting at the exact same
time, then first select the Stop button from bottom of the screen, then Enable the
desired packet streams, then press the Restart button from the bottom of the
screen. The selected packets will begin simultaneously transmitting.
7. The stream transmission status displays in the TX State column of the
Profile
table.
8. The total TX and RX packet count statistics for all packet streams are displayed
in the Count Statistics table below Stream Profile table.
To start transmission on All packet streams:
1. Repeat steps 1 through 4 above.
2. Select the All button beneath the last stream's On/Off check box.
If no packet streams are currently enabled, then this will simultaneously enable
all 32 packet streams.
If one or more packet streams are currently enabled, then this will disable all
enabled packet streams.
To transmit a single Burst of packets on one stream:
1. Configure the packet stream's setting from the
2. Select the Burst Size setting, and enter the desired number of packets to be
transmitted in the burst
3. Press Save All to save the configuration and exit the Traffic Stream Profile
window.
