Enables or Disables Tandem Connection Monitoring (TCM)
transmit mode.
The following options are available for STS mappings.
Enable: For SONET, the unit uses its TCM circuitry
and the Z5 byte to generate errors and alarms
between TCM equipment.
Disable: TCM mode is disabled, and the Z5 byte
follows normal operation.
The following options are available for VT mappings.
Path Enable: For SONET, the unit uses its TCM
circuitry and the Z5 byte to generate errors and alarms
between TCM equipment.
VT Enable: For SONET, the unit uses its TCM circuitry
and the Z6 byte to generate errors and alarms
between TCM equipment.
Disable: TCM mode is disabled, and the Z5/Z6 bytes
follow normal operation.
Configures the user-definable threshold for the TX Clock
Loss alarm, in PPM, using an on-screen keypad..
When the Measured TX Line Frequency Offset exceeds the
TX Clock Loss Threshold, then the TX Clock Loss alarm
begins to accumulate.
Valid range is from 0 to +/- 300 ppm, in increments of 0.1
ppm, where 0 ppm is disabled. The default value is +/- 50
ppm.
This threshold alarm is only supported when the
Reference
is configured for Recovered.
This setting and the associated alarm are disabled when
the TX Clock Reference is set to Internal or
