SONET Receive - POH
The Receive POH (Path Overhead) screen contains the following options:
Option
STS-<#> Dropped
Path Overhead
Selects a specific SOH slot to monitor on the incoming
SONET signal.
The following bytes appear for the selected SOH slot:
Section Overhead bytes (A1, A2, J0/Z0, B1, E1, F1,
D1, D2, and D3)
Pointer bytes (H1, H2, and H3)
Path Overhead bytes (B2, K1, K2, D4-D12, S1/Z1, Z2,
and E2)
The S1 byte (in Slot 1 only) can be selected to show the
decoded value of the received Synchronization Status.
Displays the J0 trace received on the incoming SONET
signal. This is a read-only function.
Description
Allows the user to enter the number of the specific STS
channel to monitor. The default setting is 1.
Displays the Overhead bytes for a specific Path OH slot on
the incoming SONET signal. This is a read-only function.
The following bytes appear for the selected POH STS
channel:
Path Overhead bytes (J1, B3, C2, G1, F2, H4, Z3, Z4,
and Z5)
VT Overhead bytes (V5, J2, Z6, and Z7)
VT Overhead Bytes only appear when a VT mapping is
selected.)
The C2 byte can be selected to show the decoded value
of the received Path Signal Label, and the V5 byte can be
selected to show the decoded value of the received VT
