Pass/Fail Test
•
TX PORT # - Show the selected transmit Port #, for
Protocol Processors that support more that 1 interface
port.
•
Packets - Total number of Packets transmitted.
•
Bytes - Total number of Bytes transmitted.
•
BW - Percent of bandwidth currently being transmitted.
Receive Statistics (per stream):
•
RX PORT # - Show the receive statistics for the
stream's configured Destination Port #, for Protocol
Processors that support more that 1 interface port.
•
Packets - Total number of Packets received.
•
Bytes - Total number of Bytes received.
•
BW - Percent of bandwidth currently being received.
•
Loss - Current Packet Loss rate.
For loop backs with large latency, the Loss rate may
show greater than 0 while the test stream generation is
active, even if no packets are actually being lost
(dropped). This is due to the real-time RX packet count
being lower than the TX packet count, because of the
latency. If no packets were lost during the test, then
this value will drop to 0 when the test stream generation
is turned off.
Provides User-Defined Acceptance Criteria:
Refer to
Timed Test Using Acceptance Criteria
•
Accept Seq Errors - A user-specified threshold value
for determining the acceptable Out of Sequence
packet rate for a timed test.
•
Accept Bit Errors - A user-specified threshold value
for determining the acceptable bit error rate for a timed
test.
•
Accept Loss Rate - A user-specified threshold value
for determining the acceptable Packet Loss rate for a
timed test.
•
Pass/Fail - Test results are displayed as "Running"
when the test is active (Elapsed Time is incrementing);
and displayed as "PASS" or "FAIL" when the test ends,
depending on whether or not specified failure criteria
was attained.
