OTU:IAE, OTU:BIAE, OTU:BDI, ODU:BDI,
TCM1:BDI - TCM6:BDI, TCM1:BIAE - TCM6:BIAE
Sets the insertion rate for the selected error type. This setting is
not available if Error to Insert is set to None.
The following options are available for this command.
•
Off: No errors are inserted for transmission. This
command effectively disables the Error Insert Action
button.
•
Periodic Burst: Enabled the Error Burst Size and Error
Burst Period settings
•
Max: Generates errors at the maximum rate for the
selected error type.
•
1e-X, where X is a negative integer exponent, for
example 1e-3. The X may vary based on the type of
error selected.
•
User Defined: Allows you to enter and save a
customized error insertion rate.
When an Alarm to Burst is selected, as well as supported
error types, then "Periodic Burst" is displayed.
Sets the duration, either in Frames or MilliSec, for the alarm
selected from the Alarms to Burst list to be inserted.
This option is not available unless an Alarm to Burst has
been selected from the Error to Insert function.
Sets the elapsed time (in MilliSec) or Frame count between
alarm insertion bursts. This is a repeating action.
This option is not available unless an Alarm to Burst has
been selected from the Error to Insert function.
Generates a specific alarm that is transmitted by the OTN
signal.
