This section allows users to Read and/or Write to specific 2-wire (I2C) reference
addresses.
Select the Address button to open a keypad that can used to enter the decimal
reference address.
Select the + or – buttons to increment or decrement the hexadecimal reference
address.
Select the Read button to read the selected reference address current value, which
displays as a four-digit hexadecimal number next to the Data button.
Select the Data button to open a keypad that can used to enter a user-defined
hexadecimal value to be written to the reference address.
Select the Page 0 to Page 4 checkbox to access the specified address for the desired
Page.
Select the Write button to send the user-defined Data value to the specified reference
address.
The user-defined hexadecimal numbers can range from 0 to FF (a leading 0 does not
need to be entered).
MLD Test - Module Check
The Module Check screen provides the ability to quickly qualify the integrity of the
installed CFP8, CFP4, QSFP+ or QSFP28 module before deployment with a simple
Pass/Fail result.

Verifies conformance of optical power level thresholds, line frequency offset,
skew, and BERT tolerances.
•
Supports transmit line frequency and skew offset generation options to further
stress the modules
•
Every parameter tested can be optionally enabled or disabled
•
Each parameter is constantly monitored throughout the entire test duration
•
Result reporting option includes test settings, test results, and the Module
Information of the tested module

User definable test parameters include:
All 40/100G Interface line rates and framed/unframed mappings
