SONET Transmit - Set / Set 2
Use the Set 1 and Set 2 screens to configure the SONET Transmit parameters.
The following describes the functions that appear on the Set 2 screen.

Allows the user to select a test pattern to transmit over the
SONET signal.
Select one of the following patterns:

PRBS 9
Inv,
PRBS 15
Inv,
PRBS
20,
23
Inv,
PRBS
31,
PRBS 31
(32-bit value).
If licensed for GFP, then
available.
The User Defined Payload Pattern is unsupported when
Unframed BERT mode is selected.
Determines the timing source for the transmit signal. Select
one of the following:
Internal. Derives the transmit data's timing source from the
Chassis Clock
setting, as configured on the System tab >
MISC screen. CLK:INT displays in the LED Quick Status
Area when configured for Internal clocking.
Recovered. Derives the transmit timing source from the
clock signal on the receive interface. If this option is selected,
but a signal is not available, then this function defaults to
Internal. The CLK:REC displays in the LED Quick Status
Area when configured for Recovered clocking.
When SONET is mapped into OTN, the Clock Reference
setting is only available on the OTN tab.
