Quick Status LEDs Color Description
Typically a
Red
LED indicates a problem, whereas a
error-free operation.
If an LED if
Alarm condition has not occurred at any time during the current test.
If an LED if
condition was active at some point during the current test's history.
If an LED and the LED's Text are both Red, then that Error or Alarm condition is
currently active.
Quick Status Area LED's that are underlined are "Summary Status" LEDs and can
be selected to display a summary pop-up window to show the individual LEDs, and
sometimes error/alarm statistics, related to that status LED.
For LED descriptions for a specific protocol processor, go to the appropriate protocol
processor section of the online help and navigate to Screen Functions and
Definitions > LEDs.
The following acronyms will be used when describing SDH LEDs:
RSOH
= Regenerator Section Overhead
MSOH
= Multiplex Section Overhead
HPOH
= Higher Order Path Overhead
LPOH
= Lower Order Path Overhead
White
or
Green
and the LED's Text is White, then that Error or
White

Green
but the LED's Text is Red, then that Error or Alarm
