Sets the type of data used for the transmit GFP payload. The
payload can be set to:
•
PRBS 31
•
User Defined (range from 1 bit to 32 bits and is entered
using a touch screen keypad)
Sets the frame size (bytes). The frame size is entered as a
decimal value, entered using a keypad, ranging from 60 to 9000.
The default value is 64 bytes.
Sets the bandwidth percentage (from 0.00% to 100%) of the
SONET, SDH or OTN mapping or VCG data rate.
Filters the Stream Results RX packet count by the Streams VLAN
TPID values.
Each DLI test Stream can contain up to (4) stacked VLAN tags,
(1) S-VLAN (service provider) tag and up to (3) C-VLAN
(customer) tags, each with a unique TPID (Tag Protocol Identifier)
value. The VLAN RX TPID section allows the processor to only
count those packets whose VLAN TPID are specified by the TPID
filter options.
Four filters are available, "A" through "D". Filter "A" is mandatory
and always enabled, "B" through "D" are optional.
Each filter has a menu that allows the user to select a
predefined TPID value (0x8100, 0x88A8, 0x9100 and 0x9200), or
enter a user defined value.
The Count Statistics Table displays the following information for
both transmitted (TX) and received (RX) packets:

TX/RX - Defines which row of statistics is designated for
Transmit counts (TX) and which row is designated for
Receive counts (RX)
•
Packets - Displays the total number of packets sent and
received since the test was started
•
Pkts/sec - Displays the current rate of packets sent and
received in packets per second
•
Bytes - Displays the total number of bytes sent and
received since the test was started
•
Mbit/sec - Displays the current rate of packets sent and
received in Megabits per second
•
