Configuring GFP Packet Streams
(Specifically for GFP Mappings and GFP-F or GFP-T modes)
The Config > Set (Stream Control)
edit GFP packets.
To configure a packet stream:
1. Configure the GFP Payload setting from the SONET/SDH tab, or the GFP
Mapping from the OTN tab; depending on the configured Interface.
2. Select the Packet tab, then select Config and choose Set.
3. Select either GFP Framed Ethernet or GFP Transparent mode.
4. Make any needed changes to the PFI, EXI, PTI or UPI overhead settings, as
needed.
5. Choose a Strms Pg #
stream(s) you want to set.)
6. Select a desired stream to test in the Stream Profile table. The Traffic Stream
Profile dialog box appears.
