SS Bits Alarm
Reporting
Expected SS Bits
repeats indefinitely and does not contain CRC-7.
This option appears when a LP mapping is selected.
When TIM Alarm Reporting is Enabled, an LP-TIM alarm
occurs if the incoming J2 trace does not match the Expected
J2 Trace.
Enables or Disables SS bits reporting. This function is used
in conjunction with the Expected SS Bits function. If enabled,
and an SS Bits mismatch is detected on the received signal,
the alarm's duration in seconds will appear under the Results
Scan function.
Selects one of the following as the expected SS Bits (bits 5
and 6 of the H1 Pointer byte) value:

00 (SONET)
•
01 (Undefined)
•
10 (SDH)
•
11 (Undefined)
