MPM-100G Test Module Overview

The MPM-100G card (100G Multi-Protocol Module) supports interface rates ranging
from 40Gbps up to 112Gbps.
The MPM-100G card has been designed to fit into any one of MPA's chassis test
module slots.
Each MPM-100G card is equipped with two pluggable laser module ports to support
both a CFP4 laser and a QSFP28 laser, for testing 100G interface rates with either laser
type. The QSFP28 port also supports a QSFP+ laser module for testing 40G interface
rates. The selected Interface determines which laser port to enable.
An MPA unit fully loaded with a maximum of five (5) MPM-100G cards is capable of
supporting a total of five (5) independently configurable test ports (called Test Units in
the GUI).
