For OTN, each ODU layer has its own TCM (Tandem Connection Monitoring)
overhead section consisting of six TCM fields (TCM:1-TCM:6), including multi-level and
multi-channel ODTU Add/Drop mappings.
Quick Status Area LED's that are underlined are "Summary Status" LEDs and can be
selected to display a summary pop-up window to show the individual LEDs, and
sometimes error/alarm statistics, related to that status LED.

If the TCM Summary LED is red, select the "TCM Summary" text to display a
detailed LED window with all of the OTN TCM errors and alarms for TCM:1 to
TCM:6.

The OTN TC LEDs window appears in the center of the screen.
The following describes the TCM LEDs that appear for each of the six TCM Fields
(TCM:1-TCM:6).

Description
Bit Interleaved Parity-8 error, for the specified TCM field is
being received. This is an error LED.
Backward Error Indication, for the specified TCM field is
being received. This is an error LED.
Backward Defect Indication, for the specified TCM field is
being received. This is an alarm LED.
Backward Incoming Alignment Error, for the specified TCM
field is being received. This is an alarm LED.
