400G RS-FEC Ethernet Errors:
A constant Error Insert Rate can be applied to the selected error type, or
a single error can be inserted by using the Error Insert button.
Alarm - Generates the selected Alarm type on the specified lane. Selecting
"None" will turn off the Alarm currently being inserted on that lane. The following
Alarm Types may or may not be available, depending on the configured Interface
type.
SONET/SDH and OTN Alarms:
PCS/Ethernet Alarms:
Sync Hdr - Inserts invalid Synchronization Headers.
Al Mark - Inserts Alignment Mark errors.
BIP-8 - Inserts Bit Interleaved Parity 8 errors
FEC Correctable Symbol Chan A: Selected the FEC Correctable
Symbol Channel A error to be inserted on the specified FEC lane,
essentially causing an Uncorrectable FEC error on Channel A to be
inserted.
FEC Correctable Symbol Chan B: Selected the FEC Correctable
Symbol Channel B error to be inserted on the specified FEC lane,
essentially causing an Uncorrectable FEC error on Channel B to be
inserted.
LOF - Loss Of Frame. The equipment cannot lock onto the framing
bytes for that protocol.
OOF - Out Of Frame. Indicates that the virtual lane's deframer has not
found a consistent Start Of Frame for 5 consecutive frames.
LOR - Loss Of Recovery. Indicates that the virtual lane's assignment
value has been in the Out Of Recovery state for more than 3ms.
OOR - Out Of Recovery. Indicates that the virtual lane's assignment
value has not been consistent for 5 consecutive frames.
AIS - Alarm Indication Signal. Alert the receiving end of the circuit that
a segment of the end-to-end link has failed at a logical or physical
level.
Block Lock Loss - Inserts invalid Synchronization Headers, forcing a
loss of Block Lock on the specified PCS lane.
Alignment Marker Loss - Causes the specified PCS lane to lose its
Alignment Marker Lock.
