Alarm Reporting
OPU Out of Frequency Threshold - Sets the threshold (in ppm) for which the
OPU:Frequency Wide alarm occurs, based on the measured OPU Justify
Frequency Offset. The default value is 0.0 (Disabled).
Signal Auto-Recovery Method - This is used as an attempt to recover the
signal in the event the OTN's client processor signal (SONET/SDH tab, Packet
tab, etc) is in an alarm state such as Loss of Frame or Loss of Link.
By setting this to Default, the SDH processor will refresh every 30
seconds or so, which gives the client processor an opportunity to re-
acquire a good framing or link.
By setting this to Alternate, then the SDH processor will not try to auto-
recover (refresh) when the client processor framing or link state is bad.
You may need to force an LOS event (and then clear the LOS event) after
the signal failure has been resolved, for the client to re-acquire client
framing or link state.
Signal Auto-Recovery Method is only supported on the MPM-10G card.
OTN Receive - Set / Set 3
Use the Set 1, Set 2 and Set 3 screens to configure the OTN Receive parameters.
The Set 3 screen Enables and Disables the following A/D alarm reporting parameters:
A/D ODU PM TIM Alarm Reporting (A/D ODU SAPI and DAPI - Trace Identifier
Mismatch) - Enabled or Disable Alarm Reporting
