Protocol Tabs
This PTR function monitors and reports received Pointer statistics. A count of the
following Pointer statistics appear:
The following AU/TU Pointer results appear:
Pointer Justification - Indicates the Positive Pointer Justification count.
Negative Justification - Indicates the Negative Pointer Justification count.
Positive Justification Seconds - Indicates the duration of a Pointer adjustment.
NDF Count - Indicates the New Data Flag count.
Rx Pointer Bytes (HEX) - Valid Pointers range from 0x0 to 0x30E.
Rx Pointer Value (in decimal) - Valid Pointers range from 0 to 782.
TU Pointer results only appear when a LP mapping is configured.
SDH Results - Event
The Results - Event function provides a detailed summary of when and how many
errors, alarms, and other specific activity that has occurred and has been recorded by
the unit since the time the test was started
The events appear in a table that lists events, the number of events logged, the start
and stop time of the event, and the duration of the event.
Select the Descending/Ascending button to toggle between the order you wish to view
the results.
Select Pause to temporarily halt the display of results, and press Resume to continue
displaying results in real-time.

The APS function monitors incoming APS activity. It logs and displays the K1 and K2
byte sequences received by the unit. A maximum of 15 byte sequences can appear on
the screen.
