K1 Bits 5-8 (Ring Mode)
This function edits the last four bits of the K1 byte. When APS commands are
configured for Ring mode, these bits contain the Destination Code Identification.
The following options are available:
Options
No request, Bit pattern 0000
Reverse request (Ring), Bit pattern 0001
Reverse request (Span), Bit pattern 0010
Exerciser (Ring), Bit pattern 0011
Exerciser (Span), Bit pattern 0100
Wait to restore, Bit pattern (0101)
Manual switch (Ring), Bit pattern (0110)
Manual switch (Span), Bit pattern (0111)
Signal degrade (Ring), Bit Pattern 1000
Signal degrade (Span), Bit pattern (1001)
Signal degrade (Path), Bit pattern (1010). This
is the Transmit Default button setting.
Signal degrade (Ring), Bit pattern (1011)
Signal fail (Span), Bit pattern (1100)
Forced switch (Ring), Bit pattern (1101)
Forced switch (Span), Bit pattern (1110)
Lockout of protection (Span), Bit pattern
(1111). This is also the Transmit Illegal button
setting.
