Rebooting the Test Set

This function allows the system to write unsaved data to the disk before you reboot the
unit. You can perform this task from the System I/O window or by selecting the Shut
Down button on a protocol processor tab.
To reboot the unit from the System, I/O Settings window:
1. Select the System tab and choose I/O Settings.
2. From the Ethernet screen select Reboot. The Reboot dialog box appears.
3. Select OK to continue with the reboot process, or Cancel to keep the unit on. The
Reboot in Progress message appears.
4. After all unsaved OS data is properly saved and all internal software applications
are terminated, the unit restarts.
Important: Allow 4 to 5 minutes for the system to reboot, and for all of the internal
software applications to finish loading before reconnecting.
