Restoring Factory Defaults

This function will reconfigure all of the protocol processor's settings back to the original
Factory Defaults, for the selected Protocol Mode.
The options that appear on this screen are determined by your hardware
configuration.
Restoring the Factory Defaults from the System > Misc screen will globally apply
the Protocol mode change to all test modules/ports in the system.
You must have all of the ports locked.
1. Select the System tab and choose Misc.
2. Select the Restore To Factory Defaults button.
3. The following menu options appear:
Restore To Factory
Default SDH
Restore To Factory
Default SONET
4. Select the desired protocol mode. The protocol tabs and settings will updated to
reflect the selected mode, and all of the protocol settings will revert back to their
factory assigned default values.

Saving and Restoring Global Settings Configurations

This function allows you to perform the following actions:
Save
all protocol processor Transmit and Receive settings and configurations to
file.
Restore
all protocol processor Transmit and Receive settings and configurations
by recalling a previously saved settings file.
To Save the current settings configuration:

board capable of testing SONET/SDH
