Path Signal Label
The Path Signal Label is part of the POH and identifies the
type of traffic contained in the SPE. The C2 byte is used to
indicate the content of the SPE, including the status of the
mapped payload.
The following options are available:
00 (Unequipped)
01 (Equipped)
02 (VT Structured STS)
03 (Lock VT Mode)
04 (Async DS3 Mapping)
12 (Async DS4NA Mapping)
13 (ATM Mapping)
14 (DQDB Mapping)
15 (Async FDDI Mapping)
16 (HDLC Over SONET)
1A (10G WAN IEEE802.3ae)
1B (GFP Mapping)
User Defined (any eight bit pattern 0 to FF)
This option is coupled with the C2 byte option in the
Transmit Overhead screen. If it is changed in this screen, it
will change in the Overhead screen as well.
