Enables or Disables Tandem Connection Monitoring (TCM)
alarm reporting mode.
The following options are available for Higher Order
mappings.
•
Enable: The N1 byte is monitored for TCM error and
alarm reporting mode.
•
Disable: TCM mode is disabled, and the N1 byte
follows normal operation.
The following options are available for Lower Order
mappings.
•
Path Enable: The N1 byte is monitored for TCM error
and alarm reporting mode.
•
VT Enable: The N2 byte is monitored for TCM error
and alarm reporting mode.
•
Disable: TCM mode is disabled, and the N1/N2 bytes
follow normal operation.
The TCM Summary LED
is reported. Select the TCM Summary text for more details.
Disable this option if you are not performing TCM testing
to prevent false error and alarm reporting.
turns red if a TCM error or alarm
