Module Control Pins
Set the Interface to None to set Control Pins
Control Pin Description
TX_DISABLE Toggles the logical state of the TX_DIS pin state.
MOD_LOPWR Toggles the logical state of the Module Low Power register bit.
MOD_RST_L Toggles the logical state of the Module Reset state.
TRANS_ALM Displays the logical state of the Transmit path alarm
MOD_ABS Reports the presence of an inserted CFP module to the Host.
TRANS_LOS Reports if the CFP is transmitting LOS on any Optical Lane
MDIO Access
This section allows users to Read and/or Write to specific MDIO reference addresses.
Select the Address button to open a keypad that can used to enter the hexadecimal
reference address.
Select the + or – buttons to increment or decrement the hexadecimal reference
address.
Select the Read button to read the selected reference address current value, which
displays as a four-digit hexadecimal number next to the Data button.
Select the Data button to open a keypad that can used to enter a user-defined
hexadecimal value to be written to the reference address.
Version number.
Note: A value of 0.0 indicates that the
vendor's Hardware Version number is
unspecified.
Displays the CFP module's Firmware
Version number.
Note: A value of 0.0 indicates that the
vendor's Firmware Version number is
unspecified.
