ODTU-23 - Allows OTU-3 to be filled with 4 ODU-2's, and the foreground ODU-2
is filled with 4 ODU-0's
For OTU-2, various ODTU-jk mappings are supported allowing up to 8 ODU-0
mappings:
ODTU-02 - Allows OTU-2 to be filled with 8 ODU-0's
ODTU-12 - Allows OTU-2 to be filled with 4 ODU-1's, and the foreground ODU-1
is filled with 2 ODU-0's
For OTU-1, the following ODTU-jk mapping is supported allowing up to 2 ODU-0
mappings:
ODTU-01 - Allows OTU-1 to be filled with 2 ODU-0's
ODTU-jk Add/Drop mappings are licensable options. Please contact

or your sales representative to enable this test option.
For ODTU-jk mappings, the
BERT, PRBS Patterns, NULL Client, Synchronous and Asynchronous SDH/SONET
mappings, as well as
Select
ODU-1 Added
the ODU-j payloads will be configured for the specified ODU-1 mapping.
Select
ODU-1 Dropped
the ODU-j payloads to test.
For ODTU-02, ODTU-012 and ODTU-01, the ODU-0 Mapping can then be configured
for PRBS Patterns, NULL Client, Transcoded 1000Base-X, STM-4/STS-12 and STM-
1/STS-3 mapping options
Select ODU-0 Added from Transmit > SET 1 screen, to configure which one of
the ODU-0 payloads will be configured for the specified ODU-0 mapping.
Select ODU-0 Dropped from Receive > SET 1 screen, to configure which one of
the ODU-0 payloads to test. The information contained in the other ODU-0
payloads will be discarded.
For ODTU-03 the ODU-0 Mapping can then be configured for PRBS Patterns and NULL
Client mapping options
