Transmission shaft
Removing the transmission shaft
It connects the transmission housing with the gearbox.
Remove the centre silencer (
B7.04).
Unscrew the heat shield (1), by undoing the
screws (2).
Ease the heat shield (1) off the transmission
shaft, shifting toward the front; bend slightly if
necessary.
Undo the six screws (3) fastening the
transmission shaft (A) to the gearbox.
Remove all the screws and retrieve the three
shims (4).
