Fastening the fuel pump filter
ALWAYS REPLACE the fastener ring and the O-ring whenever the fuel pump filter is removed.
Clean all removed components thoroughly and dry with compressed air.
CAUTION
When connecting a fuel system pipe, bear in mind
that the line may be pressurised. Proceed
therefore with caution and keep away any type
of flame as there is a risk of fuel spraying onto
the operator.
Always plug the disconnected fuel pipes to prevent
residual fuel from leaking.
Remove the fuel pump filter (A).
Disconnect the pipes (7) and (8), detaching the
respective unions.
Disconnect the connector (9).
Remove the fuel pump filter (A).
Screw
ALWAYS replace the O-ring (11), cleaning the
respective seat thoroughly.
