Removing the door panel
Take particular care not to damage the structure, the plastic fasteners and the leather trim
The following procedure is for removing the right door panel. With the exception of the variations described,
the procedure for removing the left hand door panel is the same.
Open the door.
Loosen the two screws indicated fastening the
striker plate (A) to the bodyshell.
Adjust the striker plate (A) into the correct
position.
Check that the door opens and closes without
sticking.
Tighten the two screws fastening the door striker
plate (A) to 80% of the rated tightening torque.
Tightening torque
Screw (pretightening)
Close the door.
Visually check that the door is flush with the rear
fender.
If the door does not close flush with the fender,
repeat the door striker plate adjustment as
described previously.
Tighten the two screws fastening the door striker
plate (A) to 100% of the rated tightening
torque.
