Cleaning CCM brake discs
Always use standard dust and dirt protection measures, such as safety eyewear, face masks and an
extractor system, when performing any cleaning work on the discs.
Wear plastic gloves when handling discs.
Remove the brake discs (
Remove dirt from the brake hat and the braking surface of the rotor with a clean cloth and acetone (C3 H6
O) or alcohol (DO NOT wash).

Fit the disc on the wheel bearing.
To centre the disc on the wheel bearing, hand
tighten the wheel fastener stud bolts into their
seats.
Apply and tighten the fastener screws (3).

Remove the stud bolts fitted previously for
alignment.
