Fit the rear suspension lower arm (A) in its
relevant seat.
Tighten the tie-rod ball stud (4) on the lower rear
arm.
Tightening torque
Spherical tie-rod
Fit the four shims (7) in the relative seats,
pushing down completely onto the stud bolts
and ensuring that they are perfectly
perpendicular to the horizontal axis of the
flanblocs.
UP TO Assembly No. 98014, fork type spacers
(7) are used.
FROM Assembly No. 98015, plate type spacers
(7) are used.
Clean the mating surfaces with a degreasing
product (heptane).
DO NOT use lubricants or electric/pneumatic
drivers.
ALWAYS replace the suspension arm
fastener nuts, complete with relative
washers, each time they are removed.
Replacement is NOT necessary if the nuts
are loosened only.
Tighten the four nuts indicated fastening the
lower arm (A) to the chassis in the following
tightening order: (a), (b), (c), (d).
