Importing the Telephone Book

Note: Telephone numbers from the local telephone network can be entered
without a prefix.
4. Enter a name for identification purposes in the Name entry field. The following entries
are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters

Importing the Telephone Book
The columns Short-code dialling number, External phone number and Name can be
imported from a text file (e.g., *.txt, *.csv).
The import can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– A telephone book saved on a storage medium (PC) as a text file (e.g., *.txt, *.csv), data
arranged in rows and separated by semicolons
1. Open the page USER DATA > Telephone book.
2. Click Browse (this text is dependent on the operating system used).
A file selection dialog opens.
3. Select the file to be imported and click Open (this text is dependent on the operating
system used).
4. Click Import.
The telephone book is saved in the PBX.
