It is possible to save a WAVE file stored on the PC as a music on hold announcement in the
PBX. The file is automatically named "announce.wav".
The WAVE file must have the following properties:
• Format: 16 kHz, 16-bit mono
• Maximum length: approx. 1 minute
• Size in memory: max. 2 MB
Note: If the WAVE file does not have the required properties you should
convert it before you save it into the PBX. In the Internet you can find
conversion programmes which can be downloaded for free. With the
conversion programme SoX (Sound eXchange), version 14.3.1, for example,
which can be downloaded via SourceForge (http://sox.sourceforge.net/), the
conversion can be made using: sox.exe -V %1 -r 8000 -c 1 -A %1-ITK.wav.
