Configuring the Subnet Mask

Querying the PBX IP Address via an Internal Telephone
Requirements:
– CLIP-enabled telephone
– CLIP function enabled in the PBX (display of the telephone numbers)
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8*941#.
3. Hang up the receiver.
You will get a call. The PBX IP address is shown on the telephone display.
Configuring the Subnet Mask
The
Subnet mask
can be configured as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone
Configuring the Subnet Mask via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Disabled DHCP client
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Server configuration > Network.
Note: The configuration is also provided during the quick configuration using
the configuration wizard.
2. In the Subnet mask entry field under Ethernet configuration, enter the subnet
mask. The following entries are possible:
IP address (e.g.: 255.255.255.0)
