Configuring the IP Address on the PBX

Switching the DHCP Client On/Off via an Internal Telephone
Requirements:
– Knowledge of the sub-admin or admin PIN
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8.
3. Enter the sub-admin or admin PIN.
4. Dial one of the following character strings:
*930*1#: Enables the DHCP client.
*930*0#: Disables the DHCP client.
5. Hang up the receiver.
Querying the DHCP Client Status via an Internal Telephone.
Requirements:
– CLIP-enabled telephone
– CLIP function enabled in the PBX (display of the telephone numbers)
1. Pick up the receiver.
2. Dial ##8*940#.
3. Hang up the receiver.
You will get a call. The DHCP client status is shown on the telephone display.
Configuring the IP Address on the PBX
The
IP Address
can be configured as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
• Using a character string on the internal telephone
Configuring the PBX IP Address via the Configuration Manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Disabled DHCP client
