4. Select or clear the S0 bus monitoring check box.

Entering the Name for the ISDN Connection
The name of the connection is used for identification purposes. For example, it is shown on the
display of the internal subscriber for incoming external calls (alpha-numeric CLIP-capable or
ISDN subscribers).
The entry can be made as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– External S port (only COMpact 3000 ISDN or COMpact ISDN module available as an
0
option)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured prefixes (country prefix and local area code)
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > External numbers.
2. In the list field at the top, select the ISDN connection in question.
A page opens for configuring the ISDN connection.
3. Open the page ISDN connection > Name and functions.
4. In the Name of the connection entry field, enter the desired name. The following
entries are possible:
Up to 16 digits
Digits and characters
