Assigning Internal Telephone Numbers to Mobile Handsets

inactive: The log-in mode is disabled.
active: The log-in mode is enabled. (No other action is required.)
4. Click Enable log-in mode to enable log-in mode.
The paging key on the base station starts blinking.
Assigning Internal Telephone Numbers to Mobile Handsets
The telephone numbers assigned to a COMfortel DECT 900 Base must be assigned to the
corresponding mobile handsets.
The assignment can be carried out as follows:
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Internal S port (only provided on the COMpact S

available as an option)
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Configured internal telephone numbers for the base station
1. Open the page CONFIGURATION > Internal numbers > ISDN subscribers.
2. Click DECT settings.
3. Open the page DECT subscribers.
4. In the list field at the top, select the telephone number created for a DECT subscriber
using the name/number.
5. In the Assign IPUI to the internal phone number entry field under Mobile handset,
enter the identification number of the mobile handset.
Note:
Each IPUI may only be assigned one telephone number.
If the base station has already been connected to the PBX and mobile
handsets logged onto it, it is possible (after a short waiting period) to view
the list of ID numbers for these mobile handsets in the list field and to then
select a number by clicking it.
