Switching CLIP Restriction Time On/Off

Switching CLIP Restriction Time On/Off
A CLIP restriction time of ten seconds is automatically inserted between one call (caller hangs
up or call connection is established) and the next call. This allows the transmitted telephone
number to be displayed correctly.
Note: If the CLIP restriction time is disabled, it can happen that incorrect
telephone number information is displayed.
Switching this on/off can be done as follows:
• Separately for subscribers
• Via the configuration manager
Requirements:
– Configuration manager, opened with sufficient authorization
– Expert view (click
– Analog subscriber
– Telephone number display (CLIP): CLIP info enabled for the subscriber
1. Open the page PROPERTIES > Internal subscribers > Subscriber properties >
Analog settings.
2. In the list field at the top, select the subscriber in question by his name or number.
3. Select or clear the CLIP restriction time check box under Telephone number
display (CLIP).
Enables the CLIP restriction time.
Disables the CLIP restriction time.
